The quality of the mineral material in the Qaleh Bid mine has a grade between 85 to 95 percent. In the case of cauliflower type, if magnetic separation is completed and all magnesites are collected, the produced grade will be above 90 percent. With the current method used by the Kanarayi Company, there is between 5 to 10 percent of waste that has a lower iron percentage and cannot be attracted by the magnetic drum. The company is equipping the mine with a color sorting machine for which necessary studies have been conducted, and the machine has been purchased from China and is currently being transported to the mine. This machine will process between 150 to 200 tons of magnesite daily after separation with the magnetic drum for final processing, aiming to produce 100 percent pure and waste-free cauliflower-type magnesite with a grade above 90 percent, which will be of good quality for magnesite calcining furnaces. The vein-type magnesite also has an average grade between 85 to 92 or 93 percent, and this material is separated as powder, which is used for various applications including calcination and the production of magnesium sulfate.
